The first M Vision, My Vision atelier took place in Montreal on the weekend of October 21, 2005. (Check this site regularly or drop me a line to join the email list to learn about future Leica events.)

The event was an unqualified success! Over a three-day period, fifteen eager photographers and two dedicated instructors shared their experiences and visions. We learned, we laughed, and we concluded that we’ll do it again. Next atelier will be en Francais,.

Here are some of the comments I received from participants:

I hope all of you had as enriching an experience as I did. It was a real pleasure to meet you all and have a chance to see the world through your eyes. We all owe Jean B. a big round of applause for all the hard work he did to make this workshop happen. Stay in touch and keep shooting. Best,- Liam

I too had a very enriching experience and loved the friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Jean for good organization and thanks to Steve and Peter who shared their valuable knowledge and experience with us. With best wishes and hoping we continue our projects. - Arun B.

Thanks once again for a marvelous experience. I am exhausted from the sheer outpouring of creative energy. Any time you are ready to host another one, count me in! - Steve C.

I enjoyed the week-end tremendously and I hope we do this again. - Roger S.

I want to thank Jean for introducing me to all you talented people from whom I plan to "borrow" a little bit of that individual gift of eye you have. Meeting all of you has inspired me to improve. -Italo C.

Thanks to all for making this such a positive experience, especially jean who put a lot of work into making this weekend possible. and of course, peter and steve, thanks to both of you for the inspiration . hope to see you all again someday.- Tim

The workshop opened my eyes to a new way of looking at the world around me. The different vision of all participants has been an illuminating experience. I understand, now, a photographer has to get emotionally involved with the SUBJECT (which is not an OBJECT). I'll have to work on that, a lifetime project.
Many thanks to all of you. Thanks to Steve and Peter, wonderful instructors keenly perceiving the psychology of all participants. - Gilles S.
